Today, Apple TV Plus announced the upcoming release of a new documentary series, The Supermodels, directed by Barbara Kopple and produced by Brian Grazer and Ron Howard’s Imagine Documentaries. Details around the new series are still pretty scant, but according to Variety, The Supermodels will follow the rise of Christy Turlington, Naomi Campbell, Linda Evangelista, and Cindy Crawford during the late 1980s through the 1990s. The show promises to be a fashion feast of epic proportions, one that provides an intimate look into what it was like to be the most famous and well-dressed women in the world—and the stars of every runway imaginable from New York to Paris.
