The Democrats give Obama the credit for Trump’s economy. The Democrats win the house and the economy tanks .Now it’s Trump’s economy. I cannot believe that these liberals think that the economy would be where it is today if Hilary got in office! Trump riding on the Growth mindset I can learn from my mistakes shirt of Obama? Are you kidding me. GDP and stock or futures markets make nice talking points for the pundits, but have little correlation to the average person’s daily costs of survival. It’s all well and good to say the economy is booming, but until I see my SS and wages keep pace with rising expenses, I take little stock in their happy talk. Yet people like me on soc security disabled & unable to get medicare due to cost vs having enough food to eat as the cost of living continues to rise. The guy at macadoos makes more than me. Many of us are married, one spouse works, spouse is forced to get obutthead care $800 a month. Because of my small 900 a month soc sec & her wages i do not qualify for assistance like medicaid or even food stamps over the cap they say. Nothing but yet illegals can get everything for free. People on ssi get medical dental & vision. To sum this up. It is great that the economy is booming again but for the disabled & elderly, we keep losing. This economy gain is for middle class. Us below middle class will continue to struggle & keep losing. Matthew Stump Sr. True but for many elderly that can’t work due to health conditions it becomes a primary income.I was told that if i was not married that i could get assistance for myself…. Some choice to have to make. Many folks have had to do that. The struggle is real. The pain is real for many. I suffered fro Scheurmanns disease. Rare non treatable.spinal disorder. Mine was diagnosed after 30 doctors could not find the problem in 40 years. Soc sec doctor recognized the problem. Go figure. I am happy that the economy is booming & people are working but for many workers the cost of living is continually going up. People are still struggling even working mid to low level jobs. The elderly still taking it in the shorts…. It use to be a publicized issue but it never got traction. Maybe the elderly here might want to speak up too. I would love to see reform actually happen for the elderly & the workers & not just the middle class.
